Fondation Segré supports environmental and species-oriented projects.
Fondation Segré has started its support to Rewilding Europe through financial support of the Central Apennines rewilding area in 2014, focusing on the conservation of the Marsican Brown bear.
In 2015, the partnership continued with a five-year support to the Rhodope Mountains in Bulgaria (2015–2019), as one of our rewilding landscapes. The support focuses on promoting natural processes like herbivory, carnivory and scavenging; conservation of three species of vultures; and supporting the Rhodope Mountains as a nature tourism destination.
Conservation of nature and its biodiversity is the predominant interest of Foundation Segré, which offers financial support to partner organisations concerned with the conservation of nature and with education.
