You will see the small herd of European bison that was reintroduced to the Southern Carpathians in May after a 200-year absence, accompanied by an expert who will also explain about our rewilding work in this region. Visit the newly-built Bison Interpretation Centre to hear more about this magnificent creature, and the story of its reintroduction, one of the biggest ever in Europe.
You also have the chance to win a visit to the Abruzzo, Italy’s wild heart in our Central Apennines rewilding area, where you will have the possible opportunity of seeing bear, wolf, deer, golden eagle and wild boar, and join a photo tour.
