Rewilding the kids with Timbuktu magazine

November 18, 2013

Rewilding Europe is the cover story of the November issue of Timbuktu Magazine, the first iPad magazine for children. The Wild issue has just been published.

Millions of kids all over the world can now learn about the importance of wildlife and rewilding through games, animated stories and activities. Just like the team of Timbuktu, we in Rewilding Europe are also convinced that this is a great way to make kids aware of our amazing wildlife and the importance of the rewilding initiatives. Rewilding as a modern fairy tale – we think this is a fantastic way for kids to get introduced to nature and rewilding and grow up with positive and innovative ideas.

The rewilding story is published in English, Italian and Spanish.

Kids between 6 and 10, the target audience of the Timbuktu Magazine, can learn about Western Iberia, Velebit, Danube Delta, Eastern and Southern Carpathians and get answers to many questions, which even their parents might not know about: how to prevent wildfires with wildlife; where you can find wild cattle and horses; where the largest population of bison in the wild can be found; where beavers, bison and red deer will soon be brought back to nature and more.

You can download the Timbuktu Magazine with the Rewilding Europe story on your iPad and activate your one-week free trial here: http://bit.ly/1aY03nF. Later on, it can be installed for €4.99 a month or €21.99 per year.

Hurry up and enjoy it all, even those who were children many years ago: www.timbuktu.me
